The award ceremony was held at the Grand Auditorium of the Korea Golf University of Science and Technology on the 25th, attended by all students, faculty and alumni associations.
Ahn Song-yi, a 2011 student at the Korea Golf Science and Technology University, has established herself as a representative player in the Korean golf industry by consistently performing well on the KLPGA Tour after graduating from the golf game guidance department. In particular, it achieved a new record of `361 appearances in the KLPGA Tour' and achieved the results of the golf world's position.

President Lee Hyun-soo said at the award ceremony, `An Song-i alumni have become an example not only for his outstanding achievements as a player but also for his humble attitude and responsible actions"The proud alumni award will present the value of challenge and achievement to juniors and inspire pride in alma mater to alumni," he said.
Ahn Song-yi, who was selected as the winner, said, "It is a great honor to receive such a meaningful award, and I will do my best to make my alma mater shine even more." he said.
The Korea National Golf University of Science and Technology plans to present the 'Proud Alumni Award' annually through a judging committee selected as an internal and external member. Ahn Song-yi was honored as the first recipient.
