Korea Sports Promotion Foundation Holds Sports Star Winter Camp Donates 7 Baseball Stars Talent Donation 'Exciting Baseball Classroom'

The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) announced that it held a Winter Camp with Sports Stars with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The camp was held as part of the "2024 Sports Star Physical Education Classroom" project. A total of seven former professional baseball players, Park Yong-taek, Kim Han-soo, Ahn Kyung-hyun, Jang Sung-ho, Oh Chul-min, Ahn Chi-yong and Cho Yong-joon, participated in the camp, which was held at the Pyeongchang National Youth Training Center for two days from the 2nd, and conducted baseball lessons for 130 children and adolescents from the local children's center.

Participants took basic baseball skills such as throwing, hitting, and receiving, and had a happy time playing mini-games with players based on them. The participants, who were guided by star instructors who resembled the `strongest baseball,' expressed great satisfaction, saying they had an unforgettable time.

An official from the Sports Corporation said "We are very happy to have given unforgettable memories to children and adolescents at the local children's center." I would like to express my gratitude to the baseball players for their willing participation in the camp despite their busy schedule, and I promise to do my best to support sports welfare without alienation," he said.
