The Premier 12 baseball team, led by head coach Ryu Joong-il, conducted local adaptation training at Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium in Taiwan on the 9th. The national baseball team will hold training and practice games until the 12th, followed by preliminary games against Taiwan on the 13th, Cuba on the 14th, Japan on the 15th, the Dominican Republic on the 16th, and Australia on the 18th.

This season, Kim Do-young has grown into a batter representing South Korea. He also became the youngest to join the club with 30 homers and 30 steals, and set a new record of 100 points for the youngest and youngest game. He led the team to the championship in the Korean Series and became a leading player in the unified championship. It is certain to be the MVP of this year's KBO League.



After finishing the league, Kim Do-young will now play for South Korea in a national team uniform.

Kim Do-young was selected among the eight players from 12 countries participating in the Premier 12. Kim Do-young was selected as one of the eight Premier 12 stars selected by MLB.COM in the Major League and stood tall as a batter representing Korea.



Kim Do-young said it is not difficult to adapt to Taiwan. He said it feels good to come to another country and play.

When Kim Do-young trained catch with his colleagues, coach Ryu Joong-il approached and watched. Coach Ryu helped Kim Do-young train by performing his own movements during the catch.



Coach Ryu Joong-il is also looking forward to Kim Do-young's performance.

On the 10th, the South Korean national team will hold a practice game against the Taiwan Wei Quan Dragons. Kim Do-young will warm up his bat as the third batter and third baseman.
