The FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2024 Organizing Committee (LOC) announced on the 12th that ticket sales for the last three games of the tournament will begin on the 21st. General sales start on the 21st, and visa card holders, who are FIFA sponsors, can have an exclusive pre-purchase opportunity from the 14th.
The tournament features six clubs representing each continent. Real Madrid, the winner of the European Champions League (UCL) in the 2023-2024 season, the Asian Champions League winner Al Ain (UAE), the 2024 Copa Libertadores winner (still undecided, winner of the final on November 30), and the African Champions League winner Al Ahli will participate.
The Africa-Asia-Pacific Cup Playoff between Al Ain and Auckland City (New Zealand) was already held in Al Ain, UAE, on September 22. Al Ain won 6-2 here. Al Ain clashed with Al Ahli in Cairo, Egypt, on October 29. Al Ahli won 3-0 here.
There are three games left. First of all, Pachuka (Mexico), the winner of the North and Central American Champions Cup, and the Copa Libertadores will compete in Doha, Qatar, on December 11. The winning team will face Al Ahli in Doha on December 4. They will then play European champions Real Madrid in the Intercontinental Cup final at Lusail Stadium in Qatar on December 18.
Audiences who want to watch the game can purchase six tickets per person. Organizing Committee Director Husan al-Quwari said, "Qatar is proud to welcome back the world's best clubs and soccer stars. In particular, the final, which will be held on Dec. 18 at Lusail Stadium, will be a wonderful way to celebrate the best edition and final in FIFA World Cup history. We expect fans to experience unprecedented heat in stadiums at world-class levels. Qatar's special hospitality, cultural charm and infrastructure will provide fans with an unforgettable and seamless experience."
