Lotte to host the 1st Giants Women's Baseball Tournament and participate in 8 teams nationwide



Lotte Giants will hold a competition to expand and popularize the women's baseball base.

Lotte will hold the 2024 Giants Women's Baseball Tournament, co-hosted and organized by the Korean Women's Baseball Federation, at Sajik Stadium in Busan from the 23rd to the 24th.

This tournament will be held for the first time at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan to expand and popularize the base of women's baseball. Eight teams from the nation's women's baseball team (Nine Bix, Ladies, Real Diamonds, Black Pulse, Yeongnam Union Team, Changmiya, Quality Start, and Hurrah) will participate.




A total of seven games, which will be played for two days, will be played at Sajik Baseball Stadium, and the central table will be open for free to watch the game. Before the final match on the 24th, a T-ball coaching education program with female fans on the ground is planned, and the program can be applied through the club APP on the 22nd.

Park Kyu-ryeong of the Yeongnam Union team said, "Thank you for showing a lot of interest in women's baseball at the club and for opening the tournament like this. I will work hard as the representative of the Yeongnam Union team."He expressed his determination.

The club will provide baseball supplies to all teams participating in the main tournament, and the winning and runner-up teams will be given 2 million won and 1 million won worth of baseball supplies, respectively.




In addition, individual awards and gift certificates such as Lotte Hotel, Lotte Department Store, and Lotte Mart will be given to players who contribute highly to the team's victory.

For this tournament, MediWomen Women's Clinic, the club's official cooperative hospital, plans to sponsor sunscreen for female baseball players, and Hyosung City Hospital plans to provide medical support for the tournament.
