Lotte Giants succeeded in catching Kim Won-joong, followed by Koo Seung-min, who is in the 'Win Seung-jo'.
Lotte club signed a contract with Koo Seung-min on the 10th with a maximum of 2.1 billion won (down payment of 300 million won, annual salary of 1.2 billion won, incentive of 600 million won) for 2+2 years.
Koo Seung-min, who joined Lotte as the 52nd overall pick in the sixth round in 2013, played 448 games in nine seasons and played 445 1/3 innings. As a bullpen pitcher, he became the second KBO league pitcher to record 20 holds for four consecutive seasons and break the club's record for most holds.
Koo Seung-min, who finished his contract, was able to sign the contract because he gave him the opportunity to play steadily for the club. As it is a challenging contract, I will be a player who contributes not only to achieving personal goals but also to the team's advance into autumn baseball. Lastly, I sincerely thank the fans for waiting."
General manager Park Joon-hyuk said, `Koo Seung-min is a player who has shown steady performance while playing as a must-win player for the team. We expect to be more committed to the team than anyone else, to be a player who can lead the team culture in a positive direction, and to show higher performance as we have a challenging contract."
As a result, Lotte completed a contract with Koo Seung-min, following Kim Won-joong, who previously stamped his seal for 5.4 billion won (4.4 billion won in guaranteed amount and 1 billion won in incentives).
