NC re-signed Matt Davidson (33) and hitter Matt Davidson on Nov. 28 (Thursday).
It is a two-year (1+1) contract and the terms and conditions of the contract are $1.5 million in 2025 (guaranteed $1.2 million, option $300,000) and $1.7 million in 2026 (guaranteed $1.3 million, option $400,000).
At the end of the 2025 season, the club has a team option for a contract extension.
Davison was NC's center hitter in the 2024 season and played in 131 games with 154 hits, 46 homers, 119 RBIs, a batting average of .363 and a slugging percentage.

Lim Sun-nam, NC's general manager, said "Davidson is the center hitter of the team and the player who crosses the fence the most at Changwon NC Park. He was a game changer who proved everything on the ground by winning the KBO League home run king in the 2024 season, and showed his leadership by leading foreign players off the ground. Davison, who has fully adapted to the league, is looking forward to his performance in the central batting line next year."
Davison is pleased to continue to be with the NC. I am happy to meet the fans of Changwon again. I will prepare well during the off-season so that I can join the spring camp. I will try again for the 50 home runs that I did not achieve this season. I'm looking forward to meeting the new director and I'll help director Lee Ho-joon get good results."
