The Doosan Bears announced on the 4th that they have decided not to renew their contracts with the head coach of the Junghoon Lee Futures team. Former coach Junghoon Lee, who played for Binggrae-Hanwha Eagles, Samsung Lions, and OB Bears, was synonymous with 'evilbari' when he was active.
After retiring from active duty, he served as a coach for Hanwha, a coach for the LG Twins, and a coach for Cheonan Bukil High School. Coach Junghoon Lee, who was hired as Doosan Bears' second-tier batting coach in 2021, has been the head coach of Doosan's Futures team since last year. The club decided not to renew the contract after completing all the schedules this season, leaving the team. Doosan plans to appoint a new second-tier head coach.

Ahn Seung-han is from Chungam High School and Dong-A University and joined the new team KT Wiz as the 12th overall pick in the second special draft in 2014. Ahn Seung-han, who was released from KT after the 2021 season, joined Doosan after a tryout test, but he did not have many opportunities to play in the first team. He played 30 games in the 2022 season and 22 games in the 2023 season, and only played four games in the first team this season.

In addition, Kim Tae-geun and Yang Chan-yeol, who were outfield backup agents, will leave the team. Kim Tae-geun joined Doosan in 2019 as a former Bae Myung-go and Konkuk University, and Yang Chan-yeol joined Doosan in 2020 as a former Jangchung High School and Dankook University, but failed to get a chance to play as a starting player and is at the crossroads of active extension.
Meanwhile, Doosan succeeded in advancing to the postseason by finishing fourth in the regular season this year, but ended the season with great disappointment by allowing its first-ever upset with two losses to fifth-place KT Wiz in the wild-card game. After the end of the season, six coaches, including head coach Park Heung-sik and coach Kim Han-soo, coach Lee Kwang-woo, coach Kang Seok-cheon, coach Kim Sang-jin and coach Jeong Jin-ho, were sent out on the 19th of last month, sparking a big change. Following the release of six coaches, the second-tier coach has begun a major team reorganization.
