'Finally signed a contract with SSG and Noh Kyung-eun for 21 years and 2.5 billion won

SSG Landers (CEO Kim Jae-seop, hereinafter SSG) signed an FA contract with Noh Kyung-eun on the 22nd (Friday), with a contract period of 2+1 years and a total of 2.5 billion won (down payment of 300 million won, annual salary of 1.3 billion won, option 900 million won).

Noh Kyung-eun has played more than 75 innings every year since 2022, serving as a must-winner for the team, and played in 194 games during this period, recording a 29-15 record with a 3.18 ERA with 75 holds.

In particular, he showed his best performance this season by winning the oldest hold king title with a record of 30 holds for the first two consecutive years in the KBO League history. In addition, he is in his second heyday, achieving the most holds (38) in a single season as a player of the club.

In addition, SSG expects the contract to have a positive impact on the team, given that Noh Kyung-eun is usually a model for the team by showing a lot of advice and examples to junior players as a team veteran along with thorough self-management.

Noh Kyung-eun, who signed the contract, said "I understand that fans have been waiting a long time for the news of the contract. I would like to first say sorry to the fans who must have waited a long time during the negotiation period. And I'm grateful to the club for allowing me to stay in the team under good conditions, and I'm happy to stay in the club with good memories as a player. I will prepare well for next season and always show good performance on the mound," he said.

Meanwhile, Noh Kyung-eun, who joined Doosan Bears as the first designated player in 2003, spent her first career high season with double-digit wins for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013, and has a career high season of 86 wins, 86 holds, 10 saves, and an ERA of 4.86 in 561 games in 19 seasons, including moving to SSG in the 2022 season to win the team's wire-to-wire title and achieving her first individual title holder this year.
