Reyes signed up to $1.2 million in terms of a down payment of $200,000, an annual salary of $700,000 and incentives of $300,000.
Diaz has renewed his contract for up to $800,000, including a down payment of $100,000, an annual salary of $500,000, and incentives of $200,000.
Reyes, from the Dominican Republic, served as a strong supporter of the Lions' mound with 11 wins, 4 losses, a 3.81 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP in the KBO League last season.
Reyes, a right-handed pitcher, also showed competitiveness against left-handed hitters and was impressive as a big game feature, especially in fall baseball. In three postseason games, he gave up only one earned run in 20 ⅔ innings with a 0.45 ERA. He was named MVP in the playoffs.

Diaz batted .282 with seven homers and 19 RBIs in 29 regular-season games. In the fall baseball, he will be able to continue the Korean dream by making a strong impression as a big game player, with three home runs and six RBIs in the playoffs and two home runs and four RBIs in the Korean Series.
Samsung is looking for an ace pitcher in the market instead of Connor Seabold, who left at the end of the season due to a shoulder injury.
