Jeonbuk manager Kim Doo-hyun's expression on his face, which ended the final match against Gwangju in the regular league with a draw, was regretful.

Jeonbuk drew 1-1 in the final match of the 38th round of 'Hana Bank K League 1 2024' held at Gwangju Football Stadium on the 24th.

Jeonbuk, which was leading 1-0 with Thiago scoring the first goal in the 29th minute of the second half, gave Shin Chang-moo an equalizer through a penalty kick in the 2nd minute of extra time in the second half.

Jeonbuk, which added one point to 42 points, finished the season in 10th place, beating Daegu (40 points), which lost 1-3 to Incheon at home on the same day.

Jeonbuk is scheduled to hold a K League 2 playoff winner between E-Land and Jeonnam at 4:30 p.m. on the same day at Mokdong Stadium and a home-and-away playoff on Dec. 1 and 8.

Coach Kim said, `Even in poor ground conditions, the players did their best. I was hoping to play the elevation PO in a good atmosphere with today's victory. I think it was a year with a lot of regrets," he said.

Regarding the situation in which Lee Young-jae dedicated a penalty kick foul to his opponent at the end of the second half "It is common in soccer. We need to focus on the remaining important schedules."

As for Thiago, who scored his seventh goal of the season in four months since July, "It was good to see Thiago harass and fight his opponent a lot today in front. I think he would have gained confidence by scoring. I think the player's condition will get better while preparing for the next gameexpected "

Jeonbuk tried to neutralize Gwangju-style build-up soccer with strong forward pressure on the day. Thiago's first goal was also in the process of pressure. Coach Kim said, `I thought there would be a good opportunity if the opponent stole the ball with forward pressure when building up"It would have been better if I had scored at a good opportunity. I saw positive things in many ways. I think we need to prepare for the next game by thinking only about the positive aspects."
