"I'm grateful that the players made this place."

This is the words of Chung Jeong-yong, managing director of Gimcheon.

On the 23rd, Managing Director Kim Cheon will play the final match against FC Seoul 'Hana Bank K League 1 2024' at Gimcheon Stadium.

Gimcheon utilizes a 4-3-3 tactic. With Park Sang-hyuk at the center, Kim Seung-seop and Mo Jae-hyun lead the attack. Kim Bong-soo, Lee Dong-kyung and Seo Min-woo will coordinate the midfield. Cho Hyun-taek, Park Chan-yong, Park Seung-wook, and Park Soo-il are in charge of defense. Kim Dong-heon protects the goal.

Coach Chung said, "(At the end of the season), there were many problems, including injuries to players and poor condition. It was done in a way that players could rest when they could. We have the tactics we have. I thought it was important to keep my condition and mental well, so I focused on that part."

Gimcheon ranked second with 18 wins, 9 draws and 10 losses (63 points) in the previous 37 games. This is the best performance in the history of commerce. The previous record was fourth place recorded by Sangju Sangmu in 2020. Gimcheon will be ranked second or third depending on the results of the match. The gap with third-place Gangwon FC (610 points) is only two points.

Gimcheon had a lot of good things this season. Park Seung-wook and Kim Bong-soo joined the A national team for the first time in their lives. Chung was nominated for the K League 1 Coach of the Year Award. Coach Chung said, `I'm in that position because the players are good. I personally have no greed. There is a better leader than me. I'm grateful that the players made this place. What matters is the game."

Against this backdrop, coach Kim Ki-dong's FC Seoul is desperate. Depending on the result of the match, the ticket to the Asian Champions League (ACL) next season will be confirmed.

Coach Kim said, `It's an important game. Rather than talking to the players, I had a good time. He also enjoyed his training. I prepared it with a smile. Only the sky knows. You've dragged me all the way here, so you'll give me that. I've done as much as I've prepared and done as much as I've done."

Seoul is a 4-4-1-1 formation. Cho Young-wook will be the front-line striker. Lingard adds strength from behind. The midfield will be coordinated by Lucas and Hwang Do-yoon and Ki Sung-yueng. Kang Sang-woo, Kim Joo-sung, Yazan, and Choi Jun are located in Four Back. The goalkeeper's gloves are worn by Kang Hyun-moo. Ilyuchenko was left with accumulated warnings. However, Choi Joon, who was injured in the previous home game against Ulsan HD, will continue to start.

Coach Kim said, `Choi Jun was in a situation where he was going to think about surgery at first. I was able to rehabilitate for three months. I didn't train until the 19th. "I was going to let Yoon Jong-kyu go, but I let him go because I had a strong will to play."

The front line then thought about setting up Cho Young-wook and Ronaldo. Both were checked through the practice game. I chose Youngwook because I thought he'd be better", he explained.
