South Korean soccer legend Park Ji-sung expressed his personal thoughts on the recent controversy surrounding the Korea Football Association in an official appearance.

JS Foundation, a foundation established by Chairman Park Ji-sung, held the 「13th JS Foundation Talent Student Donation Ceremony」 at Suwon World Cup Stadium on the 8th.

Former stars who decorated Korean soccer history, including Park Ji-sung, Cha Bum-keun, Lee Young-pyo, and Seol Ki-hyun, attended.

Park Ji-sung said, `It's already the 13th event. It's the most happy day of the year. When I was young, I also dreamed of a lot of hope by receiving the Cha Bum-keun Football Award from Cha Bum-keun, the former coach who is here now.

Park Ji-sung met with reporters after the event and gave advice to the Korea Football Association.

The Korea Football Association recently suffered from the appointment of the A national team coach, with Chairman Chung Mong-gyu being called to the parliamentary audit.

Park Ji-sung said, "(It is clear that the Korea Football Association) has lost trust to many people. I think we should definitely settle down how to restore trust and go in the right direction."

Park Ji-sung believed that the Korea Football Association should make a breakthrough on its own.

Park Ji-sung said, `There is honestly nothing FIFA or AFC can do. I don't think they want to be involved in this, of course. In the end, we have to find a solution to the problem on our own.'

Park Ji-sung said that there is something he can dedicate to developing Korean soccer.

Park Ji-sung said, `The Korea Football Association is also doing administrative work. In the end, I think we need someone who can do the job well and lead it honestly. If there is anything that the experiences I have gained overseas can help, I will be willing to help."
