B-boy Park Min-hyuk (Zooty Zoot) and Big Girl Kwon Sung-hee (Starry) won the national breaking team selection match.

The Korea Dance Sports Federation (KFD) hosted the 2025 national team selection match and the 2024 Breaking K Final at SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 17th. This competition is the 'King of Kings' with the winners of the first and second Breaking K Series and the top 16 players in total ranking points participating. The top three men's and women's general teams will qualify for the national team in 2025. Next year's national team will compete in the World Championship, the World Dance Sports Federation (WDSF) World Series, and the World Games.

A change was foretold. Kim Hun-woo, a B-boy star who played at the Hangzhou Asian Games, expressed his intention to give up his participation in the final to the federation on the 14th due to injury management and rest. Kim Hong-yeol (Hong10), a silver medalist at the Hangzhou Asian Games and a participant in the 2024 Paris Olympics, did not play in the first, second and final rounds of this year's trials, saying he would put down the national flag for a while.

In the men's final, Park Min-hyuk beat Choi Jung-woo (1-6, 5-2, 7-0). Park Min-hyuk organized the repertoire centered on brilliant power moves such as Nineteen and Airtrack. By mixing the pop properly, the completeness was improved by smoothly connecting the move and the move. Park Min-hyuk and runner-up Choi Jung-woo were selected for the national team for the first time. Third place Kim Jong-ho also wore the national flag.

In the women's final, Kwon Sung-hee beat Kim Ye-ri by 2-1 (3-4, 6-1, 4-3). In the first round of the final, Kim Ye-ri won with a high-level power move. In the second round, Kwon Sung-hee induced the audience's response with a high-level freeze that held out with her feet on her elbow to balance 1-1. In the final round, Kwon Sung-hee narrowly beat Kim Ye-ri with a head spin and stood at the top of the podium. Kim Ye-ri came in second and Jeon Ji-ye (Freshbella, Seoul Metropolitan Government) came in third.

Meanwhile, in the men's elementary school division, Song Min-chan, with various footwork and expressive power, beat Kim Hyun-jun 2-1 (2-5, 5-2, 7-0) after a tiebreak move in overtime. In the men's middle school final, Um Hye-sung (b1) defeated Yang Ha-im (Goldfish) 2-0 (7-0, 7-0). In the men's high school final, Kim Cloud drew with Lim Jang-hoon (2-5, 6-1) in the round score. However, he ranked first in the total number of votes in each round.
