Fencing Korea has become stronger on the international stage in the new season after the Paris Olympics. He continues to do well in the epee and foil events as well as the Sabres who won the Olympic medal.

South Korea's national fencing team swept two gold medals and one bronze medal at the International Fencing Federation (FIE) Epe World Cup in Vancouver, Canada, and the men's and women's foil World Cup in Tunis, Tunisia, from the 22nd to the 25th (Korea time).

Women's epee top ranker Song Se-ra (Busan Metropolitan City Hall) won the gold medal in the women's epee individual event on the 24th, the first time in a year and a half since the UAE's Fujairah World Cup in May 2023. The women's epee team, consisting of Song Se-ra, Lee Hye-in (Gangwon Provincial Government), Kim Hyang-eun (Jeonnam Provincial Government), and Lim Tae-hee (Gyeryong City Hall), also defeated Ukraine 45-34 in the team event and won the gold medal. Song Se-ra won two gold medals in the competition.

The women's epee team defeated Romania 45-26 in the round of 16 and Hungary 43-40 in the quarterfinals to reach the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, they played a close game against Poland, but they reached the final with Song Sera cooking a nine-bout 44-38, which started 35-35. It won against Ukraine with an absolute performance that never lost the lead. The national team ranked fifth in the absence of Song Sera at the Pujaira World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, the first tournament of the season, but after Song Sera's joining, the atmosphere soared, winning both individual and team gold medals.

In addition, the women's foil national team showed off its strides at the men's and women's foil World Cup in Tunis on the 25th. The women's foil team, consisting of Hong Sena (Ansan City Hall), Lee Se-joo (Chungcheongbuk-do Province Office), Mo Byul-i (Jung-gu Office of Incheon Metropolitan City), and Park Ji-hee (Seoul Metropolitan Government), won 37-36 against France, a difficult opponent in the bronze medal match. After winning the Tauberwischofheim World Cup in Germany in May 2015, he regained the bronze medal in the FIE-hosted World Cup for the first time in nine years. South Korea advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating China 43-32 in the round of 16, and won 45-32 against Romania in the quarterfinals. He lost to Japan 27:45 in the semifinals and competed with France for the bronze medal. While continuing the tight game until the fourth round, Mo-byul succeeded in taking the lead at 5 bouts.
