Lim Chan-kyu started the warm-up match against the Weiquan Dragons at Taipei Tianmu Stadium in Taiwan on the 10th (Korea time) and recorded one hit, one walk, and one loss in two innings. 33 pitches in total.
Lim Chan-kyu walked leadoff hitter Tran Sung-an in the top of the first inning after a full count match. However, after catching Nemo with a fly ball to left field and Lin Xiaochen with a fly ball to second base, Ryu Ji-hong grounded out to shortstop and came down the mound without losing a point.

Lim Chan-kyu, who recorded 10-6 losses and a 3.83 ERA with LG this season, proved his native ace by becoming a winning pitcher in all three baseball games this fall. With Ryu Joong-il in trouble due to a series of injuries to the starting pitcher, he showed passion to go straight to the national team at the request of manager Ryu.
Weiqiu Safety is Lim Chan-kyu's first real game since joining the national team. He performed well even during accumulated fatigue and short training periods, raising expectations for his performance in this tournament.
