Sports Promotion Corporation starts applying for a sports course ticket in 2025 from the 8th to the 29th, and supports sports course fees for low-income families, adolescents, and the disabled

The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) announced that it will start accepting applications for the '2025 Sports Course Use Rights' project to expand opportunities for vulnerable people to participate in sports with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and local governments nationwide.

The 'Sports Course License' project has been underway since 2009 to support sports course fees for low-income children, adolescents, and the disabled. This year, it provided a total of 140,000 people in the range of 100,000 won to 110,000 won per month for 12 months, but next year, it will expand the government budget to provide 105,000 won per month to 120,000 children and adolescents from low-income families and 110,000 won per month to 25,900 people with disabilities for 12 months.

The support targets include basic living supply households, the second-highest class, legal single-parent families, and children and adolescents (5-18 years old, born 2007-2020) from crime-damaged families recommended by the National Police Agency and disabled people (5-69 years old, born 1956-2000).

Subjects can apply online at the relevant website from the 8th to the 29th or visit the relevant city, county, ward, and community center for resident registration. Depending on the recruitment situation of each local government, additional applications can be made after the application period, and each local government will select beneficiaries and contact them individually in consideration of the qualifications for application and the cumulative period of use of the right to use. Other details can be found on the website for each subject.
