Sports Promotion Corporation to hold a 2024 Safety and Safety Sports Facility Best Practices Contest



The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) announced that it held the '2024 Best Practices Contest for Safety and Safety Sports Facilities'.

The Sports Corporation, together with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, has been promoting the 「Safety Safety Sports Facility Selection Project" since 2021 to spread the safety management culture of small sports facilities, and until last year, a total of 188 Safety Safety Sports Facilities" were selected.

The presentation competition, which was recently held at the Seoul Olympic Parktel, was held for the second time since last year to discover best practices to become a safety management standard for small private sports facilities.



This year, 120 sports facilities that participated in the Safety Safety Sports Facility Selection Project were given on-site presentations under the theme of cases of supporting infant and child-friendly safety activities and cases of efforts to establish and spread safety management culture.

As a result of the topic presentation, 'ATS Sports Center', which received the highest evaluation for presenting a standard model for complex sports sports facilities for infants and children by introducing a triple safety safety management system from facility design to operation and management, was selected as the grand prize.



In addition, the top prizes were 'Bucheon Hwa-rang Taekwondo', 'Bulha GT Geumo Dojang' and the excellence prize was 'Golden Time FC Football Life Research Institute(Bucheon Ok Gil-beom Park Hang-dong Branch)', 'Emergency Taekwondo Stadium' and 'Jul Friend Jumping Eomgung'.

An official from the Korea Sports Corporation said "I think this presentation contest will help discover various best practices and establish a standard model for safety management by industry. We will make efforts to establish a safety management culture in sports facilities nationwide through active promotion of best practices."
