Lee's election record was "Listening". "First of all, we have to listen to it a lot for the next few months."I'll also hear about the 56 votes that took other candidates and find a way to do better." "I'm not uncomfortable with anyone because I'm not intertwined in my interests. I'll take a good look at what the existing executive did and listen to various stories." "Now that I have become the chairman of the company from a sponsor, the first thing I will do is to promote table tennis together and develop with the Korea Table Tennis Association."
Lee's bid for the chairman is meaningful amid the reality that large corporations are closing their wallets to invest in sports, seeing a series of recent incidents, including the audit of the Korea Football Association. "When I said I was going to challenge the president of the Korea Table Tennis Association for the first time, everyone was against it. It is also true that it is burdensome for companies. Companies operate very transparently. I thought it would be a very simple matter if the Korea Table Tennis Association could operate transparently like a listed company"I explained why I decided to challenge myself after much consideration. Representative Lee said, `I am ready to take off my clothes at any time. If you've done something wrong, it's right to hand over the baton to someone who can do it better at any time." Business is 'give and take'. It is often inconvenient to pursue profits. But the reason I'm doing this isn't 'Give and Take', it's a question of how to lead to good influence. have no self-interest at all. You don't get honor here, you don't get power. There is a lot of joy in serving and applying." "The first president and his late father supported opera for 15 years. Now, my mother supports me for 25 years through the foundation. When I was young, I thought 'Why would I buy it and suffer?' but at this age, I understand. Rather, opera was a way out and a passage for joy. For me, ping-pong is like that." "I didn't know it would be like this at the Busan World Championships earlier this year. I was hesitant until recently. Everyone was against it. At the end, my wife gave me courage, and I am grateful that I came this far. At first, it was a burden, but I thought I should be grateful. I didn't do much, but table tennis players gave me this much faith and thought I should do my best even if I lost the race," he said with sincerity. "I like table tennis very much. I have played table tennis with my father since elementary school. He expressed his special affection for table tennis by saying that he is a long-time fan of Marong.
