There has never been a scene like this in Korean soccer, Yang Min-hyuk pass → Son Heung-min sees a goal...Will Tottenham's early joining request speed up its debut in the EPL

Tottenham announced on its official website on July 28 (Korea time) that it has agreed to recruit Yang Min-hyuk, who played for Kangwon FC in the K League 1 on the condition of a work permit and an international permit. Yang Min-hyuk signed a contract by 2030 and is expected to join in January 2025", he announced his recruitment.
There has never been a player like Yang Min-hyuk in Korean soccer history. Yang Min-hyuk, who debuted at Gangwon FC under a semi-professional contract, not yet an official professional, began to show tremendous performance as soon as he took the leap to the first team. Yang Min-hyuk, who set the record for the youngest business trip in Gangwon Province, set a double-digit score over the youngest score and multi-goal in K-League history.
It is no exaggeration to say that Yang Min-hyuk monopolized the Young Player of the Month Award, which will be presented in the K League in 2024. From April to July, he won the Young Player of the Month Award for four consecutive months, raising the stock price. It was also the first time that a player who won the Young Player of the Month award took over. In addition to this, Yang Min-hyuk won the youngest player of the month award in K-League history in July.

Tottenham and Gangwon agreed that Yang Min-hyuk will head to the English Premier League (EPL) after the K League 1 2024 season to prevent Yang Min-hyuk's growth.
Yang Min-hyuk did not stop growing even after the Tottenham transfer was announced. There were some ups and downs in August after Tottenham's transfer was announced, but it has been revived since September and now has 11 goals and 6 assists ahead of the final league match. Yang Min-hyuk, who is tied for seventh in the K-League scoring, fifth in assists, and seventh in offensive points. It is expected that he will be fully listed in this year's K-League Best Eleven, which will be held soon.

The fact that Tottenham called Yang Min-hyuk early means that the possibility of using him in the first team has increased. Currently, Tottenham's strikers have no main resources except Son Heung-min, Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson. Son Heung-min and Solanke are absolutely positioned, but it is not strange if Johnson is also pushed out of the main position based on his performance.
Rotation resource Timo Werner is suffering from a heinous slump and Wilson O'Dowbert, who was ambitiously brought in from Burnley, is struggling with injuries and does not know when he will return. Mikey Moore, a promising player born in 2007, is also not good enough to become a starting member of the first team. Hishalisson has repeated injuries and rehabilitation every time. There is a possibility that Yang Min-hyuk was called early because the offense is in desperate need of new blood.

In other words, Yang Min-hyuk will receive limited opportunities to play like Archie Gray, Lucas Veribal, and Moore, the big Tottenham prospects who are currently controlling the playing time.
It's rather a good thing. Yang Min-hyuk is now a first-year professional player. If a player who has not yet been physically completed is forced to play, his growth may be ruined. Coach Postecoglou and Tottenham also seem to have no intention of overusing Yang Min-hyuk after knowing this. This is because Tottenham did not bring Yang Min-hyuk to use his power immediately.
Even if he can't play in many games, his debut can be quick enough depending on how Yang Min-hyuk shows at Tottenham. In the case of Moore, who is a year younger than Yang Min-hyuk, he succeeded in making his debut as an EPL starter when he proved his skills in European competitions and cup competitions. If Yang Min-hyuk takes the same course, he could be on the field with Son Heung-min.

To register up to 23 field players, four players who have been trained at Tottenham for more than three years before the age of 21 and eight players who have been trained at Tottenham's country (England) before the age of 21 must be included in the list.
Tottenham failed to form a squad that could meet all of these conditions. In the end, only 23 players, including goalkeepers, were included in this season's UEL roster. Even this, four goalkeepers were put in to barely match it.
Yang Min-hyuk is not classified as a youth player in UEL, although registering as a Tottenham Under-21 team in EPL will not interfere with playing the game at all. To be classified as a youth player in UEL, you must be a player who has been trained at Tottenham for more than two years after the age of 15. Yang Min-hyuk is not a Tottenham youth player, so it is impossible.
In the end, it is possible only when Yang Min-hyuk shows the possibility to the extent that he is registered with UEL, but the time to do this before the winter transfer market is over is almost impossible. It seems that he should seek to participate in the league or the domestic cup.
