Sandro (35), a retired Tottenham midfielder, is making headlines as he nestled in Harborough Town in the seventh division, an amateur team. The seventh division team is close to the 'Early Football Team' where football is on the side.

Britain's 『BBC" reported on the 6th (Korea time)"Tottenham's former star Sandro joined Harborough'. `The Sun' also surprised football fans once again when history-making Harborough announced the signing of Sandro.'

On the 3rd, Harborough defeated the Tonbridge Angels of the National League North (sixth division) 4-1 in the first round of the FA Cup. Beat a National League team for the first time in the history of the Harborough club. In the second round, Harborough will face Reading, a former Premier League side, in League One (division 3).

A bigger news than this is Sandro's recruitment. Sandro from Brazil has played for Tottenham for four seasons since 2010, scoring three goals in 106 appearances. He moved to Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in September 2014 and parted ways with Tottenham. After playing in Italy's Serie A with Genoa and Udinese, he announced his retirement in September last year.

"Totally unbelievable recruitment," Harborough coach Mitch Austin said on his website. Sandro's decision pleased "surprised"

He "I happened to have a conversation with Sandro a few weeks ago and he also talked about football. I spoke to him about the Harborough club and our journey, and he has since kept messaging me and asking me to join", he explained.

Austin continued "I'm a Tottenham fan, so I knew all about Sandro. "When you get a chance to recruit a former professional player who has played at the top level in the Premier League and Brazil, you can't just miss it."When I looked at a few photos online again, it showed Neymar, Ronaldinho, Thiago Silva, Daniel Alves and Marcelo standing in a photo for the Brazil national team. I thought 'What's this! Pinch me!```.

Sandro, who played for Brazil, played in 17 A matches. Austin commended Sandro. He's a great man who's really keeping himself in shape. He seemed very genuine, polite and humble, and I could feel that he really wanted to recruit"We'll all be better no matter how long he stays. I'm so glad Sandro came to our club."
