Yoo Hae-rin has emerged as a next promising Korean women's table tennis player by winning the U-19 title at the WTT Youth Contender Algeria in 2024 after lifting the 2024 WTT Youth Contender Tunisia and Berlin U-17 Women's Singles Championship. He is also ranked No. 1 in the world in the mixed doubles U-19 WTT rankings with Kwon Hyuk of the same age. Yoo Yeon-rin is the only child of Korea Exchange coach Yoo Nam-kyu, the first gold medalist in men's singles and Korean table tennis at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and is attracting attention as a future and hope to lead Korean women's table tennis along with Shin Yu-bin, Joo Chun-hee and Kim Na-young, growing every year with extraordinary DNA and competitive grit.
