Feyenoord tied Manchester City 3-3 in the fifth round of the 2024-2025 European Champions League (UCL) League phase at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England on the afternoon of the 26th (local time). Three goals were conceded, but they scored three goals in a row, resulting in a dramatic draw. Hwang In-beom started and played 93 minutes.

▶ As you said, I was losing five consecutive games against a team that was too strong these days, but I still thought it was one of the best teams in the world. Everyone knew it was going to be a difficult game, and even though we prepared like that, we really scored three goals and solved it with a hard time. I think the biggest reason was that we were able to make good use of it when the opponent became a little loose without giving up until the end, and that our team did not give up until the end. I think it's a game where you can say you're so proud of the team players and our club.
-Last season I played for Zrvena and this season I played away to Man City for Feyenoord.
▶Being able to play away to Manchester City like this from another team doesn't mean that many players play in this stadium. In particular, not so many players in Korea played against a team called Manchester City here. I'm proud to be one of them, and I think it's a great privilege as a player to be able to play not only in Manchester City but also in a special stage called the Champions League for two consecutive seasons.
