The competition, hosted by Ring Promotion and the Korea Federation of Jiu-Jitsu and organized by All-Fights Universe, aims to expand the base of Jiu-Jitsu and revitalize daily sports. JRCC's new system, which links daily sports jiu-jitsu competitions with professionals, is expected to be an important turning point for the growth and development of Korean jiu-jitsu.
The JRCC Jiu-Jitsu Festival consists of a mat amateur league and a semi-professional league depending on the competition grade, and the semi-professional league is held in a cage by applying JRCC's own rules, which further maximizes the dynamic appearance of Jiu-Jitsu.
Unlike the JRCC Jiu-Jitsu Festival Incheon Open, the Urban Stay JRCC Jiu-Jitsu Sports Seoul Open will be held only in a mat amateur league, and healthy amateur hobbyists can participate. Rankings will be calculated according to the results of the game, and those with excellent performance will be given the right to advance to the professional tournament later.
Another characteristic of the JRCC Jiu-Jitsu Festival is that it is prepared as a venue for a festival that provides a variety of attractions and entertainments in addition to the games. At the Incheon Open, Jiu-Jitsu player Kim Hee-seung and national team Jiu-Jit-Tera, who won silver medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games, met with fans in person through a one-point seminar, and oriental medicine doctors such as CS Oriental Medicine Hospital came forward to provide useful information on injury prevention and self-diagnosis.
At the Seoul Open, CS Oriental Medicine Hospital, an official cooperative hospital, will provide medical support to help players play safely and healthily.
Urban Stay JRCC Jiu-Jitsu Sports Seoul Open will be broadcast live throughout the entire game on YouTube's official channel, allowing fans who have difficulty visiting the site to enjoy the competition in real time. JRCC hopes the festival will serve as a springboard for everyday sports jiu-jitsu athletes to move to the professional stage, while also providing an opportunity for jiu-jitsu as a direct sport to attract fans.
Contest applications and applications can be made on the SNS, blog, and official website of JRCC and Ring Championship.
