SSG Landers players have turned into chefs. I went grocery shopping myself, prepared ingredients, and served the food to the fans.

On the 30th, a charity restaurant and cafe event for fans was held at the underground restaurant on the basement floor of SSG Landers Field in Incheon.

The event, which was led by catcher Lee Ji-young, became a large event where players invited fans as the team's marketing team actively helped. In line with the name of the event Catcher Table, all catchers from the club, including Kim Min-sik, Park Dae-on, Shin Bum-soo, Cho Hyung-woo, and Lee Yul-ye attended, and a total of 12 players participated, including Park Jong-hoon, Park Sung-han, Cho Byung-hyun, Ko Myung-joon, Park Ji-hwan, and Jung Joon-jae. There were many players who returned home just two days ago from the Kagoshima wrap-up camp, but everyone laughed and did their best to meet with fans.

The players were in charge of everything from ingredient preparation to food cooking and serving. In particular, the players gathered on the 29th, a day before, to go grocery shopping at a large mart and prepare dishes by testing themselves for more than five hours. The players wore aprons, boots, and sanitary masks, showing a 'professionals'.

Ko Myeong-jun made bulgogi seasoning for 5 hours, measured it, tried it, and repeated it several times. I think bulgogi is delicious even if I eat it," he said with a satisfactory smile.

Cho Hyung-woo also "I prepared the menu all day yesterday. I tried plating myself, studied many things, and worked hard together" he said.

The event was divided into 'Restaurant' and 'Cafe'. In 'Restaurant', Lee Ji-young, the main chef, was in charge of soft tofu stew, Park Jong-hoon and Cho Byung-hyun prepared brisket tteokbokki, and Ko Myung-joon and Cho Hyung-woo prepared earthen pot bulgogi. Lee Ji-young is a famous cook in baseball. The seasoning of high-quality soft tofu stew was made a day in advance and matured.

Park Jong-hoon, who also received a special order for tteokbokki, said "I've been making tteokbokki at home for weeks. Suddenly, our daughters had to keep eating tteokbokki. Starting with soy sauce, spicy, and not spicy, I only made tteokbokki" he said. The spicy and sweet brisket tteokbokki with plenty of meat was also well received by fans.

The restaurant team also prepared desserts such as Americano, lemonade, ice cream hotteok, and cheesecake, and Shin Beom-soo served as kitchen assistant, Park Dae-on, Lee Yul-ye and Jung Joon-jae in charge of quick and safe food serving.

In addition, after the set meal time, all the fans came out one table at a time and took commemorative photos with all the team members, making precious memories.

At the 'Cafe', Kim Min-sik, Park Sung-han, and Park Ji-hwan provided Americano or lemonade drinks to the commemorative reusable cup along with butter cookies with the Landers logo prepared by the marketing team.

The restaurant was divided into three parts. In the first part, which is the morning time, 22 fans who won the bid for the cherished item auction participated. The cherished items were delivered to fans by the players themselves on the day, and meals were provided after taking commemorative photos together.

In the second and third parts, the winning fans were invited among the fans who applied through the club application.

Restaurants and cafes received applications for participation in the event separately without overlapping participation. The restaurant selected 35 people for 13 tables per hour, a total of 70 people, and as many as 5,000 fans gathered. The cafe selected 30 people per hour for 6 hours, a total of 180 people, and about 7,800 fans applied. Considering that there was no overlapping support, more than 13,000 fans applied, but they had no choice but to regret that they could not accommodate more fans due to the conditions.

It was possible because of the brilliant assistance of the marketing team. Employees of the SSG marketing team set up the venue themselves and supported the players so that they could participate in the event without any inconvenience.

An SSG fan who attended with his children said, `At first, I didn't know the competition rate was this high, but when I said I won, I was very jealous and realized it.My husband applied and I think I was lucky. I enjoyed earthen pot bulgogi the most today, and I think it was a good memory for my children because Park Jong-hoon came to his place and took care of them kindly. Thank you to the players who made such a great event, and we will continue to support them in the future."

Meanwhile, the SSG club plans to donate all the proceeds from the event.
