KBO will hold the '2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO Awards' at Lotte Hotel World Crystal Ballroom in Seoul at 2 p.m. on the 26th.

The awards ceremony will start with the first-place player award in the individual Futures League pitching and lead to the first-place award ceremony in the individual KBO League pitching and the KBO Judgment Award.

It will then announce and award the KBO Defensive Award, which can be received by nine players who have played excellent defense in each position, and finally announce the 2024 KBO Rookie of the Year and MVP of the honor, and finish the ceremony.

KBO conducted pre-online voting by journalists from the Korea Baseball Press Association and journalists in charge of local media after the end of the regular season to select MVP and Rookie of the Year winners.

A total of six players who met the criteria in accordance with Article 7 of the KBO Citation Regulations were selected as candidates for the Rookie of the Year award (KIA Kwak Do-gyu, Doosan Kim Taek-yeon, Choi Ji-gang, SSG Cho Byung-hyun, Jung Joon-jae, and Hanwha Hwang Young-mook).

98 pitchers, 14 catchers, and 54 internal/outfielders were nominated for the KBO defense award, which marks the second inning. KBO selected a total of nine winners, one for each position, after voting for defensive indicators (25%) and voting for each team (75% for one coach, nine coaches, and one general manager). The winner of the defense award will receive a trophy and a prize of 2 million won.

Trophy and prize money of 3 million won will be awarded to the No. 1 player in each KBO league category and the best judges, while the No. 1 player in each Futures League category will receive a trophy and prize money of 1 million won.

The winner of the Rookie of the Year award will be awarded 3 million won along with the trophy, and The Kia EV9 will be given as an injury to the long-awaited KBO MVP along with the trophy.

Baseball fans can also enjoy the live ceremony together. Tickets will be offered to 50 people (2 tickets per person, a total of 100 people) through a lottery and can be applied on the KBO website from 12 p.m. to 23:59 p.m. today (21st).
