The Dream Cafe, which will be held for the first time this year, will be joined by the Busan Metropolitan City Development Disabled Support Center, NASA Ham Development Disabled Welfare Center, and Yeongdo-gu Disabled Welfare Center to support the dream of improving awareness and self-reliance of the community. Lotte is a child with a central disability at this event?It supports the promotion of the brand 'Viroso' of the Development Disabled Support Center.
'Viroso' is a combination of 'ro', which means communication and exchange with 'ro', and 'ro', which means place, which means that the lives of children with disabilities, people with developmental disabilities, and their families change positively.
Dream Cafe will be operated from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the 20th (Wednesday) at Angelinus Sajik Baseball Stadium, Lotteria Busan Gaegeum Branch, and Krispy Kreme Donut Busan Yeonsan Branch. On this day, 17 Lotte Giants players and baristas with developmental disabilities will transform into one-day baristas. The team will take orders from customers directly, make and serve drinks, and have a special meeting with fans.
In particular, the Angelinus Sajik Baseball Stadium will open the dugout of Sajik Baseball Stadium, the newly opened "G-round Specialized Seats" this season, and two sky boxes. Skybox will transform into a party room displaying various GRS props and uniforms from the club's history. Party rooms can be pre-booked through the club's official application.
After the event, the 8th 'G-LOVE uniform and cherished item auction' will follow on the ground. There will also be a Lucky Draw event with Angelinus, Lotteria, and Krispy Kreme Donuts. Together with Lotte Holdings and GRS, the club plans to donate 10 million won each and some of the profits on the day to NASA and Yeongdo-gu Welfare Center to support education and self-reliance for the developmentally disabled.
Oh Dong-gyu, a developmentally disabled person who participates in Dream Cafe, said "I'm happy to participate in this event with my favorite Lotte players, and I think it will be a good experience to grow to the next level as a barista."We'll do our best to prepare delicious coffee for the visiting fans, so I hope a lot of people come and cheer for us."," he said. Oh participated in the barista certification class program held at NASA Ham Development Disability Welfare Center in January this year, and is developing his dream of becoming a barista by obtaining a certification in September of the same year.
Another participant, Oh Yoo-rim of the Yeongdo-gu Disabled Welfare Center, thanked "I was hoping to get a job as a barista, but I am happy to work as a one-day barista with Lotte players at a good opportunity."
Meanwhile, since 2022, the club and Lotte Holdings have practiced sharing neighborhood love through the team and executives and employees together 'Carrying Love Briquettes '. And since last season, the club and Lotte GRS have been offering various events with 'G-STAR' coffee sharing events.
