LG Twins recruited right-hander Shim Chang-min on the 18th" he announced. Shim Chang-min is a right-handed sidearm pitcher who recorded an ERA of 31-29 with 51 saves and 4.22 in 485 games, 491 innings in 11 KBO seasons.
Shim Chang-min, who joined the Samsung Lions in the first round of the 2011 rookie draft (fourth overall), started his career in earnest with a 1.83 ERA with two wins, two losses and one save.
Starting with 25 saves in 2016, he has been reborn as a must-win group with 16 holds and 17 saves in 2017 and 2018, respectively, establishing a solid position in the team. He also played for the national team, including playing in the Premier 12 in 2015 and the WBC in 2017, and made a name for himself as a sidearm pitcher representing the league.
