KIA Tigers Choi Hyung-woo set a new record for the Golden Glove 'Choi-ryeong'.

Choi Hyung-woo won the Golden Glove in the designated hitter category at the '2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO Golden Glove Awards' at the COEX Auditorium in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the 13th.

Choi Hyung-woo was honored by beating strong competitors Doosan Kim Jae-hwan and KT Kang Baek-ho.

Choi received 137 votes. Kang Baek-ho followed with 90 votes and Kim Jae-hwan with 60 votes.

Choi Hyung-woo was born on December 16, 1983. As of December 13, 2024, Choi Hyung-woo had a golden glove with '40 years, 11 months, 27 days'



The previous record was Lee Dae-ho. Lee Dae-ho won the Golden Glove in 2022 for his performance of '40 years, 5 months, and 18 days'.
