The international seminar will start with congratulatory speeches by Chung Jin-wan, president of the Korean Paralympic Committee, Majid Lashed, and the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), and in the first part, three speakers, including Paul Bird, chairman of the Oceania Paralympic Committee (OPC), will present the theme of Oceania Paralympic sports development. In the second part, Professor Vicky Tolffrey (Loughborough University, England), Professor Kim Jong-bae, and Professor Yoo Seong-hyun (Yeonse University) will present the theme of sports science research and development to improve Paralympic athletes' performance. In the third part, three presentations will be held under the theme of sharing the results of sports science support for the 2024 Paris Paralympics. ○…The Korean Sports Council for the Disabled will hold a workshop on training international professionals in Seoul from the 5th to the 6th. Eight international professionals and six employees from related organizations will participate in this workshop. International professionals belong to affiliated game organizations and are in charge of participating in international competitions and international conferences, translating international regulations, etc. The main contents of the workshop consist of a visit to the Sports Science Institute, a visit to the World Taekwondo Federation, an opinion gathering meeting, and special lectures related to international organizations. Through the workshop, we will learn about global networks and international sports cooperation cases and discuss ways to increase the efficiency of international work by exchanging opinions with participants.
