The Samsung Lions squad, which took a dramatic leap forward from 8th to 2nd place.

On the 20th, Samsung Lions players visited Yeonggwang Academy (Disability Woo Scholarship Foundation) and Kyungpook National University Children's Hospital (Chilgok) to deliver a total of 74 million won in proceeds from social park activities.




In the morning of this day, captain Koo Ja-wook and Choi Ji-kwang visited Daegu University to deliver donations and hold a signing event for children. In the afternoon, Kim Heon-gon, Yoon Jung-bin and Lee Ho-sung visited Kyungpook National University Children's Hospital to deliver donations, and went around the children's ward to present autographed balls and souvenirs.

The donation was made from proceeds from the Blue Wave event held at Lions Park in Daegu in November and from the sale of the team's cherished items.

Kim Heon-gon, who participated in the donation ceremony, said "Thank you for the hot welcome. I think it was a meaningful day where we received a lot of good energy. With this energy, I will do my best to prepare for next season" expressed his feelings.

The Samsung Lions team plans to continue various social contribution activities for the local community and the underprivileged in the future.
