Pohang Captain Wandelson recorded the most playing time among K League 1 club players in 2024.
Wandelson, a Brazilian winger and wingback, topped the 2024 K League 1 playing time ranking compiled by the International Sports Institute (CIES) from January 1 to December 15 this year.
Wandelson played a total of 49 games and 4,202 minutes in Pohang uniforms, including all K League 1 games (38 games), the Asian Champions League, and the Korean Cup.
Born in 1989 and at the age of 35, he was active in both midfielders and full-backs.
Wandelson, who joined Daejeon in 2015 and has been active in Pohang three times, is the oldest in the top 20 of the K League 1 playing time rankings.
Wandelson played 175 minutes more than Lee Myung-jae (Ulsan), who came in second. Lee Myung-jae played on the ground for a total of 49 games and 4,027 minutes, combining his team (88.5%) and the national team (11.5%).

Three of the top six were from Pohang. Brazil's central midfielder Auverdan (3793 minutes) was in third place, and center back Jeon Min-kwang (3584 minutes) was in sixth place.
Gwangju midfielder Jung Ho-yeon (3682 minutes) is in fourth place, and veteran striker Joo Min-kyu (3610 minutes in Ulsan) is in fifth place. In terms of the number of games played, Joo was ranked first (56 games) overall.
Veteran center back Kim Young-kwon (Ulsan, 3573 minutes), Gwangju fullback Kim Jin-ho (3479 minutes), Daegu fullback and midfielder Hwang Jae-won (3408 minutes), and Gimcheon midfielder and center back Kim Bong-soo (3405 minutes) filled the remaining top 10. Kim ranked 10th with only pure league games.
Jordanian center back Yazan (Seoul) joined Seoul in July during the season, but ranked 11th in the playing time ranking (3326 minutes). The national team (46%) had a high percentage of playing time.
Hwang Moon-ki (Gangwon, 3239 minutes), Choi Joon (Seoul, 3205 minutes), Mugosa (Incheon, 3,196 minutes), Andersson (Suwon FC, 3,125 minutes), Lee Tal-ro (Jeju, 3,109 minutes), Ko Seung-beom (Ulsan, 3070 minutes), Ahn Tae-hyun (Jeju, 3066 minutes), Yang Min-hyuk (Gangwon, 3051 minutes), and Ko Myung-seok (Daegu, 3010 minutes) were ranked 12th to 20th.
Yang, who officially joined Tottenham on Jan. 1, was the only teenager in the top 20.
