FIFA held the 'The Best FIFA Football Awards 2024' in Doha, Qatar on the 18th and selected Vinicius as the"Men's Player of the Year"
Vinicius, who represents Brazil and Real Madrid, was highly praised for his excellent performance in the 2023-2024 season. Vinicius led Real Madrid in 39 appearances, including the Cup, scoring 24 goals and 11 assists.

Vinicius also won Spain's La Liga in the 2023-2024 season and was named UCL's player of the year.
This is the first time a Brazilian player has won a male player award since the FIFA Football Awards was rebranded.

The FIFA Football Awards selected 11 finalists based on their performances from August 21 last year to August 10 this year.
On the FIFA official website, the men's national team coaches, captains, soccer reporters, and fans from each country vote for them and decide on the award.
Meanwhile, Aitana Bonmaty, who plays for Barcelona and Spain's women's team, was selected as the "Women's Player of the Year".
