Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who is suspected of taking banned drugs, is on the verge of ending his career at the age of 23.

The British daily `Daily Mail" reported that the future of Mudryk was uncertain after his drug test was positive and he was suspended temporarily by the FA on the 16th(local time). According to FA guidelines, if a drug test is positive, you can be temporarily suspended.

Anyone who intentionally takes prohibited drugs can be suspended for up to four years in accordance with FIFA guidelines.

Mudryk has missed five games since his last appearance in his team's game on November 28. He was included in the entry against Aston Villa on the 1st, but did not play in the game. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca explained that Mudryk's absence was due to "illness".

The Chelsea club issued an official statement saying it could confirm that the FA had recently contacted Mudryk that his regular urine test had been positive. Both the club and Mudryk have full confidence in the FA's inspection program, and all players, including Mudryk, are regularly tested. Mudryk was adamant that he had never intentionally used a banned drug. Drug tests will work to determine the cause of the positive test, it said.

Mudryk opened his personal Instagram to deny allegations that he intentionally used the banned substance. He said "I have never intentionally used prohibited drugs or broken the rules. So I was completely shocked. We are working closely with the club to figure out how this happened.'

Then 'I know I didn't do anything wrong. 'Hopefully we can get back on the field soon' he wrote.

The most recent player in football has been Paul Pogba, a midfielder from France. In September 2023, he tested positive and was suspended for four years by the Italian National Anti-Doping Agency. After appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the sentence was reduced to 18 months.

Mudryk is also in danger of facing up to four years in prison. Ukrainian media 'Tribuna' reported that the drug taken by Mudryk was 'Meldonium'. 'Daily Mail' is exactly what the Tribune reports. 'We understand that Meldonium tested positive' reports Moodrique.

Meldonium is a controversial drug taken by tennis star Maria Sharapova. Sharapova was sentenced to 15 months on appeal in 2016 after serving a two-year sentence.

Meldonium, which is sold under the brand name of 'Daily Mail'Mildronate, is known to be a drug that improves prohibited performance. The Latvian scientist Ivar Kalbins, who invented the drug, explained that the athlete should not use it, and that it was designed for Russia's 'super-soldier'.

In past interviews, Dr. Carl Vince complains of a lack of oxygen when soldiers operate in the mountains. At that time, he said the way to reduce the damage was to take the mildronate 'Daily Mail'. Drugs that have already been widely spread in Russia have been declared banned drugs and have been 'exiled' in the sports world.

While Mudryk is waiting for the results of the B sample, it seems difficult to avoid disciplinary action if it is confirmed that he took Meldonium.

Ukrainian Mudryk moved from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea in 2023 for a fee of £89m. He has scored 10 goals in 79 matches so far.
