Marcus Rashford's future seems irreparable.
Manchester United suffered a 0-3 disaster at 11 p.m. on the 22nd (Korean time) in the 17th round of the English Premier League (EPL) against Bournemouth in the 2024-2025 season at Old Trafford in Manchester, England. United remained 13th in the league.
What attracts as much attention as the shocking result is the decision of head coach Hu Beng Amorim. Amorim did not include Rashford on the roster for the third consecutive game. It was reported that Rashford was not even seen at Old Trafford Stadium, but this was not the case. Rashford visited the stadium but was unable to play because he was not included in the list.
Despite United's disgraceful defeat at home, it is hard to find a case for Rashford to be used again as a starter. Because Rashford has lost the public's trust.
In recent years, Rashford has frequently shown different moves than in the past. When Rashford began to perform well for Manchester United, he was praised from the outside as he went directly on issues to improve child welfare.

There is no guarantee that Manchester United will get better just because Rashford returns. That's because Rashford is only going downhill after hitting a career high in the 2022-2023 season. The attitude of playing is also one of the controversies that always follows Rashford. Rashford, who often walks around and does not faithfully participate in pressure, often comes out of the stadium. Fans cannot appreciate Rashford because a player in a slump doesn't even play hard.
Even Manchester United legend Gary Neville insisted that Rashford and Manchester United's separation would be a choice for each other. Neville added "Rashford has reached the point of being dropped from the roster for three games. Something seems to be going wrong. Rashford's future at Manchester United or Manchester United trying to protect Rashford is not going to be good for everyone. It is reaching an inevitable conclusion. Rashford has to leave, and it has become clear that the club wants him to leave as well."
Amorim's interview after he did not play Rashford is also controversial. Rashford immediately said he was ready to leave Manchester United, saying, `I'm ready for a new challenge.' A player should know how to overcome the main competition through his performance on the training ground, but Rashford chose media play first.
Rashford's future is likely to be dark. The news is that the Saudi Arabian club is the only team interested in Rashford. There is no news that English Premier League (EPL) clubs or other big clubs are interested in Rashford.
