Guangdong Freex to work as DN Freex in partnership with DN Group starting next year

SOOP announced on the 26th that its professional game group Freaks has signed a naming sponsorship agreement with DN Group. Shin Hyun-seok, director of SOOP e-sports & game contents business division, Frix Ju Young-dal, and Lee Byung-hoon, executive director of DN Solutions' communication office, attended the signing ceremony.
Through this agreement, Fricks will work for the next three years under the team name DN Fricks starting in 2025. The DN group's brand logo will be exposed on the uniforms and stadiums of the DN Freaks squad, including 'League of Legends', 'Battlegrounds' and 'Tekken 8'.
The new emblem of DN Frix is determined by the combined features of the DN group 'D' and Frix's 'F'. According to Fricks, the initials 'F' were designed in the shape of a shield to express the will to repay the fans' faith, and the initials 'F' were designed in an upward-looking shape to emphasize the passion for better performance to meet the fans' expectations.
With this agreement, the two companies will produce joint content and plan various programs for e-sports and business cooperation, such as fan events, to expand contact with fans.
Meanwhile, DN Group is a manufacturing innovation group that leads the global market based on the world's best technology in machine tools, auto parts, and batteries. Since its establishment as Dong-A Tire in 1971, it has expanded its business to automobile dustproof parts and batteries, and has advanced into the machine tools field by acquiring DN Solutions in 2022. Among them, the Automobile Dust-Free Parts Business Department (VMS) said it supplies noise and vibration-reducing products to major automobile manufacturers around the world and ranks third in the world in this field. DN Group said it will expand its contact with the younger generation and strengthen its brand influence through e-sports, which is popular in major countries in North America, Europe and Asia.
