Flamengo, a prestigious Brazilian player, has moved in earnest to recruit Hishalisson.
Brazil's UOL held negotiations on the 17th (Korea time) "Flamengo held negotiations to promote the recruitment of Hishalisson. Flamengo officials approached the player directly and expressed interest in starting negotiations," he reported.
Flamengo was also found to have had direct talks with Tottenham. UOL said it was willing to pay up to 20 million euros (about 30.1 billion won) to sign Hishalisson, but Tottenham, who signed Hishalisson until June 2027, demanded 40 million euros (about 60.3 billion won). Tottenham warn they are not considering a loan", he explained.
Hishalisson is reportedly open to returning to Brazil. UOL is "Hichalisson, recovering from a muscle injury in his right leg, is not closing down on his return to Brazil. Flamengo is not the only Brazilian club seeking to recruit Hishalisson. Fluminensee Chairman Mario Wittenkur publicly acknowledged that he was moving to recruit Hishalisson. He "What we can say is that we have expressed a formal interest in Hishalisson. We know it is difficult to recruit him. But I believe Hishalisson wants to return to his hometown and go to a team where he can play in the eye to get closer to the Brazilian national team again."
He then said "There is no financial negotiation at the moment. Tottenham are already open to any offer, but Hishalisson has responded that he is not interested in negotiations at the moment as he is an important player for them. We are also talking to the player to understand Hishalisson's interest."
Tottenham are likely to sell Hisalisson after the upcoming winter transfer window or season. This is because there is no reason to maintain trust in the player anymore. Tottenham and Hishalisson have been together since the 2022-2023 season, but so far, Hishalisson has not been able to properly prove his value.
Tottenham poured in 50 million pounds (about 91.2 billion won), the second-highest transfer fee ever recorded by the club at the time, but Hishalisson couldn't afford the money at all. From December 2023 to January 2024, I had a brief flashy performance, but that was all. He was injured again this season and didn't help the team at all. It seems better to sell Hishalisson and invest in recruiting other players with the transfer fee.
Already in the transfer market last summer, Tottenham pushed for the sale of Hishalisson. The Saudi Arabian club lured Hishalisson, but the player decided to stay.
