Star player Cody Bellinger, a former National League MVP, was in an embarrassing situation when he was traded. His wife's ex-boyfriend went to the team where he played as the center hitter. Bellinger is also a familiar slugger to Korean fans from 2017 to 2019 as he played with Ryu Hyun-jin (currently Hanwha) as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
