GS Caltex, who lost both foreign players and Asian quarter guns in the V-League in a day, could not expect victory, and last season's winner Hyundai Engineering & Construction was too big a wall.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction won two consecutive games by winning GS Caltex, which used players evenly and only lasted as domestic players.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction won a complete set-score 3-0 (25-11, 27-25, 25-19) in the second round home game against GS Caltex in the Dodram 2024 ̄ 2025 V-League at Suwon Indoor Gymnasium on the 3rd. Hyundai Engineering & Construction, which had nine wins and three losses along with two consecutive wins, added three points and trailed Heungkuk Life Insurance (11 wins, 32 points), the unbeaten first place, by five points with 27 points.

GS Caltex, which injured both foreign player Silva and Asian quarter Weiler in the match against Heungkuk Life Insurance on November 28, the last game, was unable to play on the same day. Weiler was out for the season after undergoing surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon, and Silva is unable to play for the time being due to an ankle ligament injury. He played only as a domestic player, but he was not good enough.

It lost seven consecutive games, losing one win and losing 10 points and staying at five points.

In the first set, Hyundai Engineering & Construction won 25-11. GS Caltex put Moon Ji-yoon in the Silva position and Lee Ju-ah in the Weiler position, but it was not easy to work together with the sudden combination of Korean players.

GS Caltex found stability in the second set. Unlike in the first set, Yoo So-yeon and Oh Se-yeon and Lee Ju-ah played equally. I took 2 sets at 22-20, making it 24-20 with Moma's back attack and Wipawi's spike. However, GS Caltex showed amazing fighting spirit. Lee Joo-ah's spike and Oh Se-yeon's block followed by a point difference, and Lee Joo-ah's attack succeeded and succeeded in making a 24-24 deuce.

However, following Moma's spike at 25-25, Yoo's attack was out, and the winner of the second set was Hyundai Engineering & Construction.

The third set is a complete victory for Hyundai Engineering & Construction. Hyundai Engineering & Construction, which drove from the beginning with Moma, led 11-3 and virtually decided the game in the beginning. With a 12-4 lead, Hyundai Engineering & Construction used Na Hyun-soo and Kim Sa-rang without Moma and Kim Da-in, showing the ease of using the players evenly.

Moma scored 17 points, Wipawi scored 13, Yang Hyo-jin scored 12 points, and Lee Da-hyun scored 11, showing even performance by the main players.

GS Caltex scored seven points, including 16 points for Lee Ju-ah, 11 points for Yoo Se-yeon, and 3 blocks for Oh Se-yeon.
