Kiwoom Heroes (CEO Wi Jae-min) recruited Oh Sun-jin (35), an infielder from the Lotte Giants.
The club signed a 2025 season contract with Oh Sun-jin at the Gocheok Sky Dome club office in Seoul on the morning of the 17th (Tuesday) for an annual salary of 40 million won.
Oh Sun-jin was drafted by the Hanwha Eagles in the fourth round of the second round of the 2008 rookie nomination meeting and then transferred to the Samsung Lions through a trade in the 2021 season. Oh Sun-jin, who finished the 2022 season and wore the Hanwha Eagles uniform again under an FA contract, moved his team after being drafted by the Lotte Giants in the second draft held in the 2023 season.
Oh Sun-jin is a utility player who can play all infield positions, with stable defense and compliance with operational performance. In 15 seasons of the KBO League, he played in 1,135 games and recorded 633 hits in 2,632 at-bats with 18 home runs, 229 RBIs, 275 runs and 49 steals with a batting average of 0.241.
