Samsung signed Ryu Ji-hyuk, an internal FA, on the 16th. Ryu Ji-hyuk signed a contract that could receive up to 2.6 billion won for four years. It is a condition of 300 million won in down payment, 1.7 billion won in four-year annual salary, and 600 million won in incentives for four years, according to the official announcement. It is a two billion won guarantee for four years.
On the 6th, Samsung announced the recruitment of Choi Won-tae and Ariel Furado together. He signed a four-year contract with FA starter Choi Won-tae for a total of 7 billion won. It caught Furado, a 'Quality Start Machine' who failed to renew his contract with the Kiwoom Heroes, for $1 million (about 1.4 billion won). He spent 9.6 billion won on FA alone.
LG brought two outside FA. In the early days of the FA market, he captured KIA must-winner Jang Hyun-sik. On the 11th of last month, the contract was signed early on 'Guaranteeing the full amount of 5.2 billion won for four years. On the 13th, Doosan's must-win group Kim Kang-ryul was recruited. Kim Kang-ryul was given a total of 1.4 billion won for 3+1 years.
It is a firm expression of its intention to challenge the presidential election again in 2025.
LG, the 2023 winner, dreamed of building a dynasty, but swallowed the disappointment because of the bullpen. LG actively reinforced the bullpen so as not to repeat the same mistake. Initially, he was trying to wait and see the market after signing a contract with Jang Hyun-sik, but as closer Yoo Young-chan underwent surgery, he even caught Kim Kang-ryul without worrying.
Samsung succeeded in rebuilding after a short period of darkness. After ranking second in the 2024 regular season, he even experienced the Korean Series. In the Korean Series, he kneeled with one win and four losses, reducing the difference in weight class against KIA. Samsung boldly pressed the 'Winnow' button again. Some say that Choi Won-tae's 7 billion won and Ryu Ji-hyuk's 2.6 billion won are somewhat overpay, but it is proof that Samsung is so strong.

Ryu Ji-hyuk blocked the idea of transferring to other teams. I told him to keep doing it together, that it was necessary, and not to go anywhere. I still can't forget that I lost the Korean Series until now. The goal is to win unconditionally," he said in unison.
