Daegu Korea Gas Corporation won by losing seven consecutive games to Goyang Sono and jumped to second place.

Gas Corporation only played a close game in the first quarter of the '2023-2024 KCC Professional Basketball' held at Daegu Gymnasium on the 3rd, and since then, it has not allowed a reversal and defeated Sono 85-63. Gas Corporation, which won two consecutive games with the victory on the day, tied for second place with Ulsan Hyundai Mobis with 9 wins and 4 losses.

Gas Corporation won the game by inducing Sono's consecutive turnovers with Shin Seung-min's thrilling shooting sense and strong pressure defense throughout the game. On the other hand, Sono had already brought in the main players in the middle of the fourth quarter, effectively raising the white flag and falling into a swamp of seven consecutive losses. The ranking also fell one step further from tied for 7th to 8th.

Shin Seung-min, who had a career high of 25 points, including five three-pointers, led the attack, while Bellangel supported the back with 14 points-6 assists and eight rebounds. For Sono, Burns scored 17 points and veteran Lee Jae-do scored 12, but 11 turnovers were held back.

From the beginning, the Korea Gas Corporation intensively marked Lee Jae-do, the starting point of the Sono attack, and this was effective. In the ensuing empty space, Korea Gas Corporation, which led 15-13 in the first quarter, finished the first half with a 39-33 lead, but it was not very satisfactory.

However, after the start of the third quarter, Nicholson's three-pointers, following Jung Sung-woo and Shin Seung-min, began to run by a double-digit margin of 49-38. Sono followed Burns with consecutive under-the-goal shots, but failed to close the score, failing to prevent 10 points from falling, including three points and three free throws following Bellangel's under-the-goal shot at the end of the quarter.

Sono's unique pressure defense since the start of the fourth quarter led to four consecutive errors, which both Shin Seung-min and Bellangel scored, already widening the score to 69-53 with nearly nine minutes left in the game. Not satisfied with this, he continued to press again, and Shin Seung-min's two three-pointers were added to make the game early.
