Advisor Lee Il-an, a founding member of the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA), passed away on the 14th. He was 83.

Adviser Lee Il-an lifted the trophy in 1967 '10th KPGA Championship' and 1973 '16th KPGA Championship'. Until 2014, he played in the grand senior category of the KPGA Champions Tour.

From 1988 to 1991, he served as the seventh president of the KPGA. At that time, he worked hard to strengthen his membership by conducting semi-professional (currently KPGA professional) selection matches, establishing a lesson pro team, opening a golf coach school (currently introductory education), and introducing player reinforcement training matches. Since then, he has devoted himself as an advisor to the KPGA.

The KPGA will hold a funeral as the president of the association to commemorate the repose of the deceased who contributed to the development of Korean professional golf.



Honorary funeral committee members are Han Jang-sang, Kang Young-il, Moon Hong-sik advisor, funeral committee members are senior vice chairman Ji Tae-hwa, funeral vice chairman Lee Woo-jin, funeral committee members are Nam Young-woo, Jeong Jae-kyung, Song Young-bal, Yoo Jae-cheol, Lee Keun-ho, Park Do-gyu, Lee In-woo, Lee Yong-hoon, Kim Hyung-sung, Joo Heung-cheol, Yeom Dong-hoon, Sung Si-woo, Kim Jin-hyung, Kim Kyung-tae, Kwon Sung Sung-yeol, and Moon Chung-hwan.

The mortuary is at Asan Medical Center No. 23 in Seoul, and the coffin is at 7:40 a.m. on the 17th.
