Mason Mount (Manchester United) is out again due to an injury.

Manchester United, led by head coach Ruben Amorim, will play an away match against Wolverhampton in the English Premier League (EPL) in the 2024-2025 season at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England on the 27th (Korea time). It is the beginning of the infamous 'Boxing Day'. The problem is the squad. Manchester United lost Mount to Manchester City on the 16th. Mount started the day, but fell 14 minutes after kickoff. Eventually, he stepped back to the bench.

British media Express reported on the 24th that there is a possibility that Mount will be out for a long time due to injury. It appears that he will only be able to return in March next year,' he reported.

It is shocking. A Chelsea youngster, Mount was once considered a talent to lead England. He scored 58 goals-53 assists in 279 games for Chelsea. He won the European Champions League (UCL). He was named Chelsea Player of the Year in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons. He also made 36 appearances for England.

United have ambitiously acquired Mount through the summer 2023 transfer window. At the time, his transfer fee amounted to £60 million. The weekly wage reached £250,000. But he was held back by his injuries. He played only 14 EPL games in the 2023-2024 season. He played only eight times in the league this season.

Director Amorim "It's going to take a long time. It's part of football. What I can do is teach how to play our game when Mount is recovering. I try to use that time to think differently. Mount will help us. It's really hard for a player to be away for a long time. I'll try my best as well. I will help you to the end."

Mount said earlier "I can't put into words what a shock I am now. One thing I can guarantee is that I will never give up or lose trust. I will not stop until I overcome this difficult time and achieve my goal."
