Recently, he donated 10 million won to Pyeongtaek Happiness Sharing Headquarters to practice sharing.
This is not the first time that Bang Shin-sil has done a good deed. Including this donation, the total amount of donations this year alone is 25 million won. Although the room is practically difficult to live in, it has been sponsoring a number of households through designated deposits for households in the blind spot of welfare due to lack of public support and neighbors in urgent need of support, such as fire damage.
Bang Shin-sil, who usually writes a thank-you diary and strengthens his heart, said "I started donating to repay my gratitude to my neighbors by sharing. I hope it will be of practical help to families in need during difficult times. We will continue to work hard next season and support more families so that we can continue to be interested in sharing the community and practice helping neighbors," he said.
Pyeongtaek Mayor Chung Jang-sun said "Thank you for your continued interest in Pyeongtaek's difficult neighbors and for practicing warm sharing. I will carefully deliver the donation to families in need," he replied.
Bang Shin-sil, who won his first career victory at the E1 Charity Open in May 2023, achieved two career wins by winning the Dongbu Construction and Korea Land Trust Championship that year. In 28 competitions this season, he continued his performance by entering the top 10 nine times, including three runner-up and one third-place. He is gaining fame as the longest hitter on the Korean LPGA Tour, which has been ranked first in long balls for two consecutive years since 2023.
