Yoo Ki-sang (Changwon LG) won the first All-Star vote in his life.

KBL announced on the 18th that `Yoo Ki-sang ranked first in both fan voting and team voting for the 2024-2025 KCC Professional Basketball All-Star Game.' This season's All-Star Game will be held at Sajik Gymnasium in Busan on January 19, 2025.

In this All-Star Game, 20 players will be selected by combining 70% of fan votes and 30% of team votes. In the vote held from the 3rd to the 16th, the organic prize received 89,987 out of a total of 1.587,999 fan votes. It came in first place. In the squad vote, he received 55 out of 185 valid votes, ranking first with a total of 48.44 points.




Yu Ki-sang, born in 2001, entered the professional league with the third overall pick in the 2023-2024 rookie draft. He scored 95 3 points in 52 rookie season games, the most successful rookie record. As a shooter, he recorded a three-point success rate of 42.4%. Yoo Ki-sang, who made a strong impression upon his debut, won the Rookie of the Year award, which is only once in his life. He became the KBL's best star in his second season. He became the first LG player to win the most votes in an All-Star game.

Following Yoo Ki-sang, Byun Joon-hyung (Yang Jeong-gwanjang) ranked second with a total of 44.09 points with 73,752 fan votes and 50 team votes. Lee Jung-hyun (Koyang Sono) ranked third with a total of 42.46 points with 76,873 fan votes and 37 team votes. Brothers Heo Hoon (61,792 fans, 44 players, 37.43 points in total) and Heo Woong (72,318 fans, 13 players, 34.89 points) ranked 4th to 5th in turn.

Park Moo-bin (Ulsan Hyundai Mobis), Lee Sun- Albano (Wonju DB), Sam Joseph Bellangel (Daegu Korea Gas Corporation), Moon Jung-hyun (kt), Yang Joon-seok (LG) and Oh Jae-hyun (Seoul SK) were selected as All-Stars for the first time.




As of the end of the second round of the regular league, SK coach Jeon Hee-chul and Hyundai Mobis coach Cho Dong-hyun will take the helm of each team in the All-Star Game. Four recommended players and team composition will be announced later.
