Logan, from West Palm Beach, Florida, is a left-handed pitcher with physical conditions of 191 centimeters and 105 kilograms. The speed of the fastball is mid-to-late 140km and throws splitter, curve, sweeper, slider, and changeup. He plays against batters with aggressive pitches and high-quality breaking balls, and is also evaluated as excellent in crisis management.
Allen began his professional career in 2015 with an eighth round pick by the Boston Red Sox and played for San Diego, Cleveland, Baltimore and Arizona.
Logan recorded 5 wins, 11 losses and an earned run average of 5.79 in 124 ⅓ (15 starts) in the Major League. In the minor leagues, he recorded 45 wins, 35 losses and an ERA of 4.50 in 740 ⅔ innings (134 starts).
Lim Sun-nam, head of the NC Dinos, said "Logan is a smart pitch player through high-quality breaking balls. He is a pitcher with a lot of experience on the mound and will center the team's starting lineup. I'm looking forward to playing with Riley next season."
Logan is pleased to be able to be with the NC Dinos. As the team's starting pitcher, I will try to make the team win a lot. I heard a lot about the enthusiastic support of baseball fans and KBO fans in Changwon. I'm looking forward to the moment to experience it firsthand. I'll look forward to meeting with my team members and fans and prepare well for the offseason."
Logan will join the squad at the Arizona camp in the United States.
NC completed the formation of foreign players in the 2025 season by filling the foreign player roster with batters Matt Davidson, pitchers Riley Thompson and Logan Allen.
