Wolverhampton announced the appointment of Portuguese coach Pereira on its official channel on the 19th (local time). According to the club, Pereira trained at Compton Park, Wolverhampton's training ground, for the first time on the 19th, and is scheduled to direct Leicester City over the weekend.

Ferreira, who worked with Kim Min-jae at Fenerbahce in 2021, entered the Premier League 20 years after his leadership debut through Corinthians, Flamengo, and Al-Shabab, Saudi Arabia.
Pereira is the third Portuguese leader to take the helm of Wolves since 2017. In the meantime, Nunu Espiritu Santo, the current Nottingham Forest coach, and Bruno Raj Benfica coached the team. Hwang Hee-chan, who joined Wolverhampton in 2021, is the fourth leader after Raj, current West Ham coach Julen Lopetegui and former coach Gary O'Neill.
