The schedule for the KBO League regular season game in 2025 has been confirmed. Next year's All-Star Game will be held at Daejeon New Stadium, and Monday's game will also be held on Children's Day.
KBO confirmed and announced the game schedule for the '2025 KBO Regular Season' on the 20th. The 2025 KBO regular season will open on Saturday, March 22, with a total of 720 games, 144 games per team.
The opening game was organized as a home game for the top five teams in the final team rankings of the 2024 season. Jamsil (Lotte Giants-LG Twins), Incheon (Doosan Bears-SSG Landers), Suwon (Hanwha Eagles-KT Wiz), Daegu (Kium Heroes-Samsung Lions), and Gwangju (NC Dinos-KIA Tigers) will open the long game with two consecutive games. Doosan, ranked fourth, had an away game due to overlapping stadiums with LG, ranked third, and SSG, ranked sixth, had a home game.
May 5th is Monday, but the game is organized in consideration of Children's Day. The games will be held from May 5 to 7 at Jamsil (LG-Doosan), Gocheok (KIA-Kium), Daejeon (Samsung-Hanwha), Sajik (SSG-Lotte), and Changwon (KT-NC) stadiums in accordance with biennial rules. As a result, Thursday, May 8 is scheduled to be a moving day.

The KBO All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, July 12 at Daejeon Baseball Dream Park, Hanwha's new stadium. Hanwha decided to use its existing home stadium, Daejeon Hanwha Life Eagles Park, until this year, and will use the new stadium from next season. Hanwha will completely play its first season next year under head coach Kim Kyung-moon. Coach Kim took over during this season and has so far focused on identifying the team's history. After the season, we prepared for 2025 in earnest from the closing camp, and the club also changed its new brand identity (BI) and uniforms in line with the new stadium. KBO hoped that fans of the 10 clubs would enjoy the new Hanwha home stadium together as the All-Star Game was held at Daejeon New Stadium.
The rest period for the All-Star Game has been extended from July 11 to 16 from the previous four days to six. The second half of the regular season will start with four consecutive games from July 17.
In addition, all games except for the opening two consecutive games and the four consecutive games immediately after the All-Star Game break were organized as three consecutive games, and 135 games per team were organized first until August 31. The unorganized 45 games (9 games per team) will be scheduled later along with games that are canceled due to rain and other reasons.
Meanwhile, Doosan, KT, SSG, Lotte, and Hanwha were organized into 73 home games and 71 away games based on the principle of organizing 73 home games and 71 away games every other year, taking into account the travel distance between teams and marketing factors.
