Kim Hyun-woo went through Ulsan HD Youth (Hyundai Middle School and Hyundai High School) and joined Ulsan in 2018, then left on loan to Croatia's first division GNK Dynamo Zagreb. Kim Hyun-woo, who played in the Dinamo Zagreb U-19 and the second-tier team, made a complete transfer in 2019 with various performances.
